Meet the Creator

Dee Gilmore

Beauty educator. Wellness advocate.

I'm Dee Gilmore — a beauty educator, wellness advocate, and the woman who has spent years helping other women reconnect with themselves through simple, intentional practices.

I created The Reflection Reset because I believe the most powerful transformation doesn't start with a new product, a new routine, or a new look.

It starts with a quiet moment. A pen in your hand. A page that asks: what do you actually need today?

I created this journal with my Granny in mind. She was the kind of woman who managed everything — quietly, steadily, on her own. I watched her grow tired, but she never let that stop her from showing up for her family, her friends, or her community.

What she modeled for me — without knowing it — was both her greatest gift and maybe her greatest cost. Her sacrifices created space for me to reach my goals earlier than I might have otherwise. Her lessons helped me understand, along the way, that taking care of yourself is not optional. It is how you sustain everything you give.

This journal is what I wish she had for herself. A quiet page. Permission to pause. A reminder that rest is not a reward for when the work is done.

My hope is that these pages meet you with softness, encourage you to honor your whole self, and offer peace whenever you reach for them.
